Sure-Pak 12 MRE Meals w/Heater (12 complete meals)
The Sure-Pak MRE meal case by Sopakco was designed to meet the needs of the end user who requires a top-of-the-line, fully configured meal case. Each case contains 12 complete meals. There are six different menus, with two of each menu in each case.
Each Meal Pack comes with an entree, side dish, dessert, crackers, cracker spread, beverage powder, spoon, and towelette, as well has a heater pouch and water to activate. Everything you need for a delicious hot meal whenever and where ever you need one.
These MRE's are a preferred choice among many hikers, campers, fire fighters, disaster relief planners, and emergency managers!
MREs, also known as U.S. Military Field Rations or Meals Ready to Eat, were originally developed for the U.S. Military and are used worldwide. They are a self-contained, self-heating, fully prepared meal with entree, side dish, drink mix, condiments, dessert, and snacks. These Sure-Pak meals now make this technology available to civilians. Anywhere you might want a hot meal without access to as stove, such as camping, in a disaster, or even at a class, these are an ideal solution.

These meals have a long shelf life of 3-5 years, depending on storage conditions (see table). They have a flexible 3-layer foil sealed pouch that locks in the flavor and locks out the bacteria. The outer layer of polyester protects against moisture, light, and oxygen. The inner layer of polypropylene protects the food from tasting "metallic" or canned, and also acts as a heat seal.
The following MRE Shelf Life Table is based on studies conducted by the U.S. Army's NATIC Research Laboratories without the participation of the MRE manufacturers, including Sopako. Sopako, Red-E Supply, and our distributors have not verified the results and do not guarantee you will see comparable results.
