This sleek, sturdy metal whistle is an important part of any CERT member's kit. The loud, shrill sound from this whistle is sure to get anyone's attention. The metal ring at the end allows it to easily be attached to the accompanying lanyard, or a key chain, pack, etc. For emergency situations, a whistle is a MUST. A whistle without a pea or cork inside, pealess, is recommended because moisture in a whistle with a pea can cause the pea to stick to the sides and the whistle will no longer work.
