MSA Vanguard IIŪ Lateral Protective Helmet w/Fas-TracŪ Suspension and 3-Point Chin Strap
The first choice of emergency response professionals. Vanguard II Helmets (Type II, polyethylene) represent the latest generation of protective headwear and are designed to provide limited impact and penetration protection in the event of a top of lateral blow to the head.
Provides limited impact and penetration protection in the event of a top or lateral blow to the head, as well as limited protection against contact with high-voltage conductors. Representing the latest generation of protective headwear, Vanguard helmets are tested to the same energy level for both top and lateral blows. Comfortable and lightweight, the helmet weighs only 19 ounces and comes with the optional three-point chinstrap with quick-release buckle. Provides top, front, rear and side impact and penetration protection. Fas-TracŪ ratchet suspension for quick, easy adjustability.
Available in five colors, including white, yellow, red, blue and HiViz orange.
Offers a full range of accessories including faceshields, hearing protection, lights and light holders that snap into the helmet slot, a goggle retainer and a lamp bracket and cord holder. - Large knob for easy adjustment

Meets or exceeds the applicable requirements of ANSI Z.89.1-2003 for Type I and Type II helmets Class E (electrical-high voltage) and G (electrical-low voltage) and is certified to CAN/CSA Z 94.1-2005, Class E, Canadian lateral protective helmet standard.
Blue is our standard color, although may be ordered in other colors.
