Benton County is situated in the center of the Willamette Valley in the western half of the State of Oregon. The Cascade Mountains are to the East, and the Coast Range to the West.
With all of the wilderness, back-country, logging land, lakes and streams so close, Benton County Emergency Management has gained a lot of experience in how to plan for and deal with all sorts of emergencies.
They have used their experience to create this preparedness booklet, which they have made available to the public at no charge. This is a really easy-to-use booklet that helps you organize and record your personal/home emergency plan. Print it out on a printer with double-sided capabilities, or print all the odd pages, flip it over, then print all of the even pages (Note: depending on the printer, you may need to re-sort the pages- pay attention to the page numbers).
